Are there Covid standards to comply with?
No. You do not need a Green Pass to enter the hotel, the use of a mask is recommended but no longer compulsory as of 1 May 2022.
Do you have a parking space?
No, we do not have private parking. Don’t worry, view all the options for parking your car or motorbike on our parking page.
How can I reach you by car? and by train? and from the airport?
You can reach us directly by car by 20:30.

Is the hotel located in the ZTL?
Yes, only during certain hours. The active hours of the ZTL are from 20:30 to 24:00. We recommend that you check in before 20:30.
What time can I check in?
From 15:00 to 22:00. If you arrive before 15:00 we will do our best to deliver your room to you as soon as possible.
Are you located in the Sassi of Matera?
Yes. The Hotel is located in the upper part of the Sasso Caveoso.
Are you close to the centre?
Yes. The pedestrian zone in the centre starts just 300 metres from the hotel.
Do you have rooms in the Sassi?
Yes. The hotel has cave rooms typical of the Sassi as well as classic rooms. Choose the rooms available when booking online.
Do the rooms have a window?
Yes. All our rooms have a window.
Do the rooms have a view of the Sassi of Matera?
No. The view of the Sassi di Matera is from the shared terrace where aperitifs and breakfast are served.
Do you have an in-house restaurant?
No. We serve aperitifs with typical chopping boards and drinks. There are many restaurants and eateries in the immediate vicinity.
Do you have gluten- and lactose-free products?
Yes. Part of the breakfast buffet is dedicated to gluten-free and lactose-free packaged products, and we also have zymil and soya milk.
Do you have Wi-fi?
Yes. Wi-fi is available in the rooms and common areas.
Are animals allowed?
Yes with limitations. Only in some rooms we accept animals; in common areas they are not allowed.
