Hotel Rooms in Matera | Il Belvedere
The rooms of our Hotel in Matera are partially obtained from the restoration of some old houses in the Sassi which kept each one of their peculiarities; some of them keep old cisterns and ancient mangers, but each one presents original tufa wall.
Our Hotel also has classic rooms which are not in the cave: most of them present modern ceiling and resin pavement.

Superior room in the cave
Cave rooms with maximum capacity of 4 people. These rooms feature some typical details of the houses in the Sassi.
Standard room in the cave
Typical double rooms abtained from the restoration of ancient spaces used as barns. These rooms feature original tufa barred vault.
Junior Suite in the cave
Very spacious room in hypogean environments typical of the Sassi. Ideal for a romantic stay.
Single Room in the cave
Single room very small but with a unique character; the room is called Camera del Monaco for its particularity.

Comfort Room
Double rooms with canopy bed and wooden roof. Rooms equipped with all comforts with a maximum capacity of 4 people.

Double/Twin Room
Standard double rooms with twin beds on request. Maximum capacity is for 3 people.
